We are searching for a motivated & experienced Manager, Reporting & Receiving Materials.

The Reporting and Receiving Materials Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling the receiving, raw material warehouse, inventory control, and replenishment to maximize productivity. Prepares schedules for shipping between manufacturing plants and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space. This position is also accountable for all warehouse inventory accuracy and cycle counting routines to ensure accurate perpetual records of the materials stored in the warehouse.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Uses ERP reports and inventory concepts to plan and manage raw material, WIP, and inventory levels based on production requirements.
• Ensures the availability of all necessary ingredients and materials to produce products.
• Works with corporate purchasing on replenishment, ensuring proper inventory loads, process compliance, and pricing.
• Ensures timely unloading, receiving, storage, and delivery of materials to production areas.
• Maintains inventory and product loss control, coordinates shipping and receiving, and ensures safety and operational guidelines are met.
• Maintains cycle count standards with the long-term goal of achieving cycle count certification.
• Prepares and maintains inventory reports, including accuracy, cycle count metrics, and scrap processing.
• Implements and enforces standard work procedures across functions.
• Drives continuous improvement activities in all functional areas.
• Works with corporate purchasing on replenishment activities.
• Works with plant management and supervisory staff to assign, review, and monitor work to maximize productivity in the warehouse and shipping departments.
• Leads material replenishment activities to ensure timely delivery to production lines.
• Collaborates with other departments (Production, QA, Sanitation, Safety) to maintain service levels and compliance with regulations.
• Provides leadership in personnel development and evaluation to ensure efficient operation.
• Motivates staff to form an effective and efficient team.
• Participates in company meetings (safety, production, department).
• Informs supervision of any issues or problems.
• Participates in special projects and other duties as required.

• Manages purchase orders: placing POs according to production needs, following up with vendors, resolving conflicts.
• Oversees warehouse management: reception, storage, delivery, and returns of goods.

In addition to the core duties, all positions are responsible for:

• Meeting company standards for quantity and quality of work performed, complying with policies and procedures.
• Adhering to workplace behavior policies, safety policies, GMP regulations, and lock-out/tag-out requirements per OSHA.
• Being knowledgeable about food safety and handling practices, including in-house Food Safety Training and SQF code awareness.
