The position is best suited to a leader who is fluent in data, design, and human experience, and who can translate workplace strategy into measurable business value.

Location: San Francisco Bay Area, with time split across client sites, Newmark offices, and remote work based on client and team needs.

Travel: Regional travel within California and western US as needed for client engagements and workshops.

Build senior client relationships and earn trusted‑advisor status by connecting workplace strategy to talent, brand, and financial outcomes.

Lead engagements spanning human experience objectives, cultural and identity studies, life/work blend analysis, workplace standards, building scenarios, utilization studies, and occupancy modeling.

Design and facilitate executive workshops and co‑creation sessions for clients across the Bay Area.

Translate research, employee insights, and portfolio data into workplace strategies, design guidelines, and change roadmaps that support sustainable hybrid work models.

Build and lead multi‑disciplinary project teams in collaboration with Strategic Advisory, Occupier Services, Brokerage, and delivery partners.

Advise market leaders on emerging workplace trends, including AI‑enabled workplaces, utilization analytics, and evolving expectations for flexibility and employee experience.

Identify new business opportunities and support proposal development with strong narratives, service descriptions, and fee models.

Monitor project budgets, utilization, profitability, billing, and fee management across the region.

Contribute to thought leadership through speaking, writing, and market‑facing content.

Promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in both client work and internal team practice.

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Social Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.

10+ years of experience in workplace strategy, corporate real estate, design strategy, or related consulting.

A track record of leading ambiguous, cross‑functional projects from discovery through implementation in fast‑paced environments.

Strong executive communication, storytelling, and facilitation skills.

Proven client relationship management, business development, and negotiation experience.

Strong analytical and financial fluency, including experience with occupancy scenarios, business cases, and performance metrics.
