Job summary

Bain & Company in the United States is seeking a Manager, Recruiting Programs & Internships to own a portfolio of internship and early-identification programs. Responsibilities

You’ll join Bain's Global Recruiting Programs and Internships team, which brings in top talent from undergraduate programs and recruiting events while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. As part of the Recruiting Programs & Internships team, you’ll help support hiring efforts globally by managing regional recruiting programs and internship experiences that build Bain's future Associate Consultant and Consultant talent pipeline.

Where You’ll Fit Within the Team

As the Manager, Recruiting Programs & Internships, you’ll own a portfolio of key recruiting programs that help attract and develop exceptional early talent. You’ll lead the strategy and execution of assigned internship and early-identification programs, partner closely with stakeholders across the firm, and continuously improve how we deliver world-class recruiting experiences. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and offers the opportunity to mentor teammates while influencing the future of Bain's recruiting programs.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution for a portfolio of internship and early-identification recruiting programs.

  • Analyze program performance and identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and candidate experience.
  • Leverage AI and other technologies to automate workflows, improve productivity, and enhance program delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement by incorporating best practices and introducing innovative approaches to recruiting programs.
  • Coach and support junior team members, providing guidance, feedback, and development opportunities while fostering an inclusive and collaborative team culture.
  • Contribute to broader recruiting initiatives and firm activities as business needs require.
About You
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of campus recruiting experience.
  • Previous experience managing direct reports strongly preferred
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing technology, talent strategy, and market trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders across multiple levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience developing presentations and executive-ready materials.
  • Ability to manage highly confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Ability to represent Bain externally with candidates and university partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and travel as business needs require.
  • Passion for recruiting marketing, program design, and continuous improvement.
Working Model

This role follows a hybrid model. In-office presence is required 1 day per week, ideally 2.

U.S. Compensation Information

Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution based on years of service and Bain’s best-in-class benefits package.

Role

Some local governments in the United States require a good-faith, reasonable salary range to be included in job postings for open roles. The estimated annualized compensation for this role is as follows:

  • The good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, licensure/certifications, training, and skill level.
    • In Boston the range is $114500 - 137500
    • In Dallas the range is $104500 - 125500
    • In Chicago the range is $109500 - 131500
    • In Atlanta the range is $99500 - 119500
    • In New York the range is $124500 - 149500
  • Annual discretionary performance bonus.
  • This role may also be eligible for other elements of discretionary compensation.
  • 4.5% 401(k) company contribution, which increases after 3 years of service and is 100% vested upon start date.
