The role reports to the Regional Director of Radiology Services and requires coordinating with HIM, facilities, and other support teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualificações

Bachelor's degree in a health-related major preferred.
Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of five years of experience in a healthcare managerial role.
Five years of healthcare management experience specifically within Radiology is preferred.
Candidates should also have knowledge of healthcare billing and coding.

Responsabilidades

Direct and coordinate daily Imaging Center operations to support efficient, high-quality patient care.
Supervise staff within the department in collaboration with the Modality Supervisor and Regional Director.
Coordinate patient scheduling, staff schedules, and Radiologist schedules.
Oversee medical record functions and ensure accurate completion of required forms and records.
Interview potential clerical candidates and provide orientation to newly hired clerical employees.
Assist with employee evaluations.
Review and finalize staff payroll.
Reconcile charging activities, including support for professional billing and coding.
Partner with HIM and the Centralized Billing Office to address and resolve patient billing concerns.
Support the maintenance needs of the Imaging Center.
Oversee the coordination of services within the building and facility.
Identify operational and safety concerns and ensure they are addressed.
Coordinate with Engineering, Facilities, Housekeeping, Security, Parking, Material Management, Patient Experience, and other support departments as necessary.
Collaborate with the Modality Supervisor and Regional Director to support departmental operations.
Ensure the Imaging Center remains compliant with applicable policies, laws, regulations, and facility requirements.

Setting the Stage

Strong imaging operations require a leader who can bring together patient care, staff management, scheduling, billing, and facility operations while maintaining a consistent focus on quality and efficiency. Under the direction of the Regional Director of Radiology Services, the Manager of Radiology Services will oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Imaging Center. This position is responsible for supporting efficient, high-quality patient care while managing staff, patient and radiologist scheduling, medical record functions, payroll, billing and coding activities, and overall radiology operations.

In addition to departmental leadership, the Manager will help oversee coordination of services throughout the building and work with internal partners to address operational, facility, and safety needs.

A Typical Day

As the Manager, you may:

You enjoy working cross-functionally with departments such as Facilities, Security, Housekeeping, Patient Experience, and other support services
You can manage multiple operational priorities while maintaining a strong focus on quality patient care
