Job summary

Exact Metrology: A Division of In-Place Machining Company in Milwaukee seeks a Manager of Quoting & Estimating to lead our Tech Rep team and drive accurate, competitive estimates for complex machining projects.

You will partner with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and SMEs to evaluate requirements, determine strategies, and develop profitable solutions for customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in machining, manufacturing, estimating, or engineering.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining, manufacturing processes, and shop operations.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience developing quotes, estimates, project plans, or manufacturing cost models.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and team leadership skills.
• Project management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of technical estimators and quoting specialists.

• Evaluate machining processes, labor, materials, tooling, and costs.
• Collaborate with Sales and Operations to ensure technical and commercial viability.
