Job summary

In-Place Machining Co LLC seeks a Manager of Quoting & Estimating to lead our Tech Rep team and drive accurate, competitive estimates for complex machining projects.

The role partners with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and SMEs to define project requirements, determine manufacturing strategies, and develop profitable solutions for customers worldwide. Domestic and international travel is possible.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in machining, manufacturing, estimating, or engineering.
• Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specs.
• Experience developing quotes, estimates, project plans, or cost models.
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
• Project management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Are you a machining professional who knows how parts are made, understands manufacturing costs, and can lead a team to deliver winning proposals? We're looking for a Manager of Quoting & Estimating to lead our Tech Rep team and drive accurate, competitive estimates for complex machining projects.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of leadership experience in machining, manufacturing, estimating, or engineering.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining, manufacturing processes, and shop operations.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience developing quotes, estimates, project plans, or manufacturing cost models.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
• Project management experience is a plus.
