Job summary

Menasha Corporation is seeking a Manager of Quality to lead the plant's Quality Management System in Coleman, MI. You will drive CAPA, audits, and Six Sigma projects to meet customer and business requirements.

You will oversee product/process trials, develop capable processes with PFMEA and SPC, and lead cross-functional problem-solving while maintaining documentation and driving standard work across the site.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership of quality management systems.
• Experience driving CAPA, audits and process improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of statistical methods and quality tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer and business requirements are met by promoting employee engagement and managing the plant QMS.
• Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints through execution, follow-up and on-site rework.
• Communicate and solve problems with customers and the organization as needed.
• Manage product/process trials for new products, molds, and material trials.
• Develop capable production processes using PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC and related methods.
• Drive execution and improvement of ORBIS production system and quality plans.
• Monitor, analyze and report performance metrics to local and corporate.
• Lead problem solving using CAPA, designed experiments and Six Sigma methods.
• Maintain documents per the Document Management System and retention requirements.
• Drive standard work across plant activities and overall QMS improvements.

Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints through execution, facilitation, continuous follow-up, communications, and/or re-work (including on-site)2. Communicate, and solve problems with customers and the organization as needed.3. Manage product/process trials concerning new products, existing molds, material trials, and improvement projects.4. Develop capable production processes for new and existing products using Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEAs, Control Plans, SPC, Standard Work, Gage R & R, and Gage development activities.5. Drive execution of, maintain, improve and train as it relates to local process ownership, ORBIS production system, Quality Plan, Process capability, Calibration, Internal Audits / Cross plant audits, Corrective and Preventive action, and DMS.6. Monitor, analyze and report performance metrics to local and corporate.7. Lead / Promote problem solving and ensure continuous improvement utilizing the CAPA system, designed experiments, Six Sigma/Lead methodologies, and other problem-solving methodologies.8. Maintain documents per Document Management System and retention requirements.9. Drive development and application of standard work across plant/production activities.10.
