Qualifications

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
  • Experience with Quality Control and/or Quality Assurance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all activities of the Quality Control Inspection and Quality Engineering team.
  • Provide leadership to the Quality Department staff including mentoring, coaching, training, recruiting, performance management and employee development.
  • Provide Quality interface between the organization and its customers; develop and implement program quality plans and procedures; harmonize Landing Gear program quality teams.
  • Manage site quality KPIs, develop and implement improvement activities, and reduce COPQ and customer escapes.
  • Manage the site continuous improvement CORE program and serve as the CORE domain focal.
  • Ensure the site QMS compliance; drive a risk-based approach to improve processes.
  • Promote a One-Collins approach and partner with Everett operations and Landing Gear sites.
  • Promote the RTX Zero framework for best-in-class performance.

We are looking to hire Quality Manager to work onsite at our Everette facility - WA

What You Will Do
  • Manage and coordinate all the activities of the Quality Control Inspection and Quality Engineering team.
  • Provide leadership to the Quality Department staff including mentoring, coaching, training, recruiting, performance management and employee development.
  • Provide Quality interface and expertise between the organization and its customers. Develop and implement program quality plans and procedures and drive harmonization between Landing Gear program quality teams.
  • Manage site quality Key Process Indicators, develop and implement improvement activities, and drive reductions in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and customer escapes.
  • Manage site continuous improvement program (CORE) to support the site’s improvement targets and drive harmonization within the CORE operating system. Serve as the CORE domain focal.
  • Manage the site Quality Management System and ensure compliance with industry, customer, and organization requirements. Utilize the QMS to drive a risk-based approach to proactively improve the site’s processes.
  • Promote a One-Collins approach to drive strong relationships and partner with Everett operations, Landing Gear sites, and the Collins Organization.
  • Promote the RTX Zero framework to drive best-in-class performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications You Must Have

The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
