Job summary

Dynamic-Metals in Dayton, OH is seeking a Manager of Quality to develop, maintain, and support the quality management system per AS9100 and customer requirements. You will coordinate and implement the quality management system, Nadcap requirements, and oversee the Dayton Plant's Quality Department.

The position requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and at least five years of aerospace quality assurance management experience, including audits, training, and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree or at least ten years related experience.
• Minimum five years of quality assurance management experience in a sheet metal/roll form aerospace facility.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support the quality management system per AS9100 and customer requirements.
• Coordinate and implement the quality management system, Nadcap requirements, and customer requirements.
• Achieve and maintain DSQR for GE, Rolls Royce and other aerospace customers.
• Manage the Dayton, OH Plant’s Quality Department’s employees.
• Work with the customer, suppliers and internal personnel to discuss and resolve quality issues as required.
• Prepare for and represent the company during Nadcap, customer, government, and AS9100 audits.
• Perform internal audits of existing quality management systems procedures and processes.
• Provide training to Quality Control Inspectors.
• Prepare and present AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) as required.
• Assist in the development and implementation of Root Cause and Corrective Actions (RCCA) initiatives.

• Assist in the development and implementation of Root Case and Corrective Actions (RCCA) initiatives

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Detail oriented
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, to include PowerPoint
• Manage time with little to no supervision, self-motivated
• AS9100 Quality compliance, understanding, and commitment
• Bachelor of Science degree or a minimum of ten (10) years related experience
• Minimum five (5) years of quality assurance management experience in a sheet metal/roll form aerospace facility
