Job summary

International Flavors and Fragrances is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor in Jacksonville, FL. The role is onsite and focuses on leading shift operations to ensure safety, quality, and productive performance.

You will supervise Area Supervisors, coach teams, monitor processes, and coordinate across shifts to maintain operational alignment. The position emphasizes continuous improvement and adherence to EH&S standards within a collaborative, high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all manufacturing activities during assigned shifts to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
• Supervise Area Supervisors and provide coaching, guidance, and support to drive team performance.
• Monitor production processes and ensure product quality standards are consistently achieved.
• Serve as the primary point of communication between shifts and cross-functional departments to promote operational alignment.
• Identify process, equipment, or staffing issues and implement timely corrective actions to minimize disruptions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and operational excellence.
• Analyze operational challenges and lead problem-solving efforts to improve process performance and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies while fostering a strong safety culture.
• Complete administrative responsibilities including shift reporting, documentation, workforce coordination, and performance monitoring.
