Caterpillar Inc. in Decatur, IL, seeks a Manager of Product Support for Off-Highway Trucks to lead a high-performing team focused on world-class quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

You'll drive defect reduction and CPI initiatives across the product lifecycle, collaborating with manufacturing, engineering, NSI/NPI, and regional teams to improve uptime and reduce warranty costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience with heavy equipment, mining/industrial machinery, or related products.
• Experience with warranty analytics, quality systems, and field service operations.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and CPI methodologies.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Decatur Off-Highway Truck Product Support team delivering technical leadership and product support.
• Drive product quality and reliability initiatives through data-driven defect reduction and CPI programs.
• Lead complex problem solving, root cause investigations, and corrective action implementation.
• Develop and execute initiatives to improve DPU at MIS checkpoints.
• Represent Product Support in NPI/NSI/APU reviews and ensure effective execution of quality improvements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain and value chain teams to enhance build quality.
• Diagnose field issues with regional teams, dealers, and customers across NA and Europe.
• Accelerate product improvements and preventive actions to increase uptime and reduce warranty costs.
• Establish performance standards and accountability for continuous improvement.
• Coach and develop a team of technical professionals.
