Job summary

Redfin is seeking a product leader to own rentals across Redfin, Rent.com, and ApartmentGuide.com. You will set the strategy for discovery and engagement, lead a team of four PMs, and partner with teams to ensure a seamless renter journey from search to rental to potential buying.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, AI-enabled tooling, and a strong focus on customer empathy as you improve listing experiences for homeowners and renters alike.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience shipping consumer web and mobile experiences to millions of users
• 3+ years managing and developing product managers, with a track record of growing strong PMs and building healthy, high-performing teams
• Experience in real estate, proptech, or the rentals space is a plus, but not required
• A strategic thinker who can zoom out to write a multi-quarter vision and zoom in to unblock a PM on a tricky product decision
• Confident making data-driven decisions through deep analysis and rigorous A/B testing
• Deep customer empathy. You watch real renters search, you read the support tickets, and you build for what people actually do
• Strong communicator who can turn a messy problem space into a clear plan for engineers, designers, and execs
• A fast learner who handles ambiguity and learns new subject areas quickly
• AI-native preferred: use AI tools to write specs, prototype, analyze data and more

That's where you come in. We're looking for a talented product leader to own rentals on Redfin and across our family of sites. You'll set the strategy for how renters discover and land their next home, lead and grow a team of four product managers who together own the entire rentals experience, and partner across the company to make the renter-to-buyer journey seamless. You'll also own the experience for everyday homeowners who as landlords use Redfin to find a renter and fill their vacancy for free, as well as other sources of inventory that give renters the most options when they're looking for a new place to call home.

This role reports to the Senior Director of Product, Rentals and AI.

About the Role

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with all applicable job posting disclosure requirements. The compensation for this position is $164,500.00-$246,200.00.
