Position Summary:

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Manager, Indirect Procurement. You will be a key member of our Client Services team that manages the tail of suppliers of our client’s Indirect Sourcing operations. This position will report to the Managing Director, Client Services.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Develop procurement operations strategy with key stakeholders for our client and client team.
  • Oversee and support the development of procurement operations and procedures.
  • Collaborate with client to develop procurement governance structure and processes.
  • Oversee Contract Management function.
  • Support development and management of Supplier Management.
  • Manage tactical and strategic procurement activities across indirect categories
    • HR, IT, Logistics, Corporate Services, Facilities, Print & Packaging, Store Operations & Construction
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with client
  • Understand client needs and requirements to provide tailored solutions
  • Oversee the day to day operations related to client account
  • Coordinate with internal teams to troubleshoot and solve operational problems
  • Identify areas for operational improvement and efficiency, develop and implement process improvement initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations
  • Analyze data to identify trends, issues and opportunities for improvement
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to align on client strategies
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations as needed
  • Ad Hoc Sourcing Support
Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 4-6 years project management, procurement, or operations experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Ability to excel in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires a fast learner and flexible thinker
  • Experience in driving operational redesign process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with different deadlines with strong attention to detail
  • Desire and ability to take full ownership of projects and produce high quality work
  • Strong work ethic with excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong team player; able to interact with all levels of management
  • Entrepreneurial aptitude with a commitment to client service.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships, communicate effectively and influence.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills

Travel:

This position may require minimal travel.
