The Pricing Manager for FinThrive will be responsible for both executing complex pricing work and leading, developing, and reviewing the work of pricing team members. As the pricing function scales, this role will play a key part in shaping future pricing capabilities and team structure.
The ideal candidate is able to drive growth and market expansion that ultimately leads to both short and long term value for FinThrive. Experience in working at all levels of the organization (from individual contributors to the C-level suite) is a must. The ideal candidate is high energy, results driven, and passionate about pricing for both product and service offerings, and is knowledgeable about the rapidly changing healthcare system in the US. The position reports to the Director of Finance.
Essential Job Functions
- Accountable for pricing quality, responsiveness, and adherence to established pricing guidelines across supported commercial teams.
- Own day ‑ to ‑ day pricing execution, prioritization, and workload management across the pricing function
- Establish pricing standards, governance, and review processes to ensure consistency, speed, and margin discipline
- Develop and support key pricing models to estimate product and portfolio profitability interacting with large data sets and pricing assumptions
- Monitor and review market trends and data, including FinThrive value proposition, unique differentiators and competitive intelligence
- Leverage and maintain internal pricing KPIs to improve and evolve pricing strategies
- Collaborate with product teams and senior leadership to determine differentiated pricing strategies to support sales growth
- Identifies organization's strengths and weaknesses in regard to pricing and suggests areas of improvement
- Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
- Involvement in special projects, communication and overall organizational changes related to commercial pricing
- Capacity to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes in direction and altering priorities
- Partnering with other internal clients such as contract and legal teams to expedite the client contracting process
- Supervise, coach, and develop pricing team colleagues, including hands ‑ on review of pricing analyses and active participation in complex or high ‑ impact deals.
- Lead by example through direct ownership of complex, non ‑ standard, or high ‑ impact pricing analyses while coaching team members through approach, modeling, and decision rationale
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Bachelor's degree - Finance, Economics, Mathematics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience with a minimum of 5+ years of experience
- Detail-oriented and ability to produce work with a high degree of accuracy
- Demonstrate ability in leading, coaching, or developing analysts in a fast ‑ paced, cross ‑ functional environment
- Superbanalytical/quantitative and communication skills
- Ownershipmentality and demonstrated ability to independently drive projects to completion, with high attention to detail
- Demonstrated problem solving ability using statistical analysis or large data sets.
- Athoughtful collaborator, and great listener, keenly focused on understanding business challenges, building strong relationships, and driving even stronger outcomes
- Anexcellent communicator capable of translating complex, nuanced, or detailed analysis into clear, actionable summaries or recommendations

- Builder mentality - identifies problems quickly and is eager to build solutions from scratch, not just improve onothers work
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
- Salesforce/Apttus/Power BI/Other Business Intelligence and CPQ tool skills a plus
