Job summary

Purple Strategies is a Chicago-based firm that blends brand communications with strategic campaign speed to help top brands manage reputation and change. This full-time, hybrid role is based in our Chicago, IL office, requiring three days in the office each week.

The Manager will design and produce high-quality PowerPoint decks, create visual concepts, and ensure consistency across client materials. You will support marketing and new business teams, coordinate meetings, and help develop content

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• 5+ years of experience in presentation development, communications, design, consulting support, or related roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and familiarity with presentation best practices, including layout, hierarchy, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to translate complex information and ideas into clear and visually compelling PowerPoint presentations for client audiences; exposure to consulting, agency, corporate communications, or client services environments highly preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of content creation and distribution best practices.
• Familiarity with organic and paid social media strategies.
• Strong attention to detail, including formatting consistency, visual alignment and quality control; ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Basic understanding of digital content production processes.
• Experience or interest in learning Adobe Creative Cloud (Lightroom, InDesign, etc.), Microsoft Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator and other platforms.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and incorporate feedback from multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent organization, client service and communication skills.
• Exceptional time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce high quality PowerPoint decks and presentation materials that meet brand and client standards.
• Create visual concepts, diagrams, and frameworks that simplify complex information and communicate ideas effectively.
• Ensure consistency in visual style, formatting, and storytelling across presentations and client materials.
• Support client and internal teams in preparing presentations for meetings, workshops, and major deliverables.
• Support Art Directors and Graphic Designers in organizing, developing and producing creative products as assigned.
• Design ads, banners and social copy.
• Support Purple’s marketing and new business teams with event branding, social copy, attendee/speaker backgrounders, presentation decks, and other duties.
• Support team leaders with scheduling and facilitating virtual and in-person meetings and events, drafting agendas, and follow-up notes.
• Contribute to Purple’s growth and success, including conducting new business research and assisting with drafting new business and marketing-related content.
• Be responsible for proofing and trafficking creative assets to paid media vendors.
• Assist with development of content plans and track internal / external approvals.
• Assist with development of creative workback plans.
• Stay current on evolving design trends, tools, platforms, and emerging creative technologies, including AI, and responsibly incorporate new capabilities into the creative process.
• Contribute to additional duties as assigned.

Scope & Responsibilities

The Manager’s primary responsibilities are to provide tactical creative, content and production support across client teams and on internal functional teams. This person is comfortable navigating a workload that fluctuates quickly and thrives in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment with periods of rapid turnarounds.

In this role, you will:

Work Location

This is a full-time position based in our Chicago, IL office. Purple Strategies offers a hybrid model and seeks employees who are comfortable working in the office three days a week.

Compensation

Purple Strategies offers a competitive total compensation package with salary, bonus and benefits. Base salary for this position starts at $85,000.
