Takes initiative to participate in duties not directly assigned and proactively seeks remedies to identify and resolve problems. Ensures compliance with organizational and departmental policies and procedures, as well as regulatory standards. Provides team leadership by setting clear goals and expectations, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment, and recognizing and rewarding achievements. Prioritizes patient and customer service by developing and implementing strategies to enhance the patient experience and improve satisfaction, addressing complaints and concerns promptly, and working to resolve issues effectively. Other duties as assigned. Demonstrates effective leadership to communicate the organization's vision and promote the success of its goals. Controls budgets by verifying and ensuring appropriate use of staff, materials, supplies, and vendors. Monitors and schedules department resources to meet all applicable codes and standards, maintaining proper documentation. Implements record‑keeping systems, cost‑effective measures, inventory control, and standards of performance and productivity for self and staff to use time effectively and meet deadlines. Manages human resources including interviewing, retention, performance appraisals, employee relations, and staff development. Coordinates with the leadership to ensure alignment and collaboration on departmental and organizational initiatives. Participates in the development and administration of the department's budget, forecasting additional funds, equipment, materials, and supplies. Authorizes expenditures within the approved budget following finance policies and recommends adjustments as necessary.
