Job summary

Invenergy LLC, based in Chicago, IL, seeks a Manager, Permitting to lead permitting and regulatory compliance for utility-scale energy projects including wind, solar, storage, natural gas, and transmission. You will coordinate internal and external teams to ensure filings meet local, state, and federal requirements.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and 7 years in energy or related fields; JD/MS is preferred.

• 7 years of work experience in energy industry or relevant experience.
• Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• JD, MS or similar graduate-level degree preferred. Experience with permitting, project management, and technical/legal writing.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Must be self-directed and detail-oriented, with the ability and desire to effectively lead.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and GIS applications.
• Experience leading a team.

• Interface with government agencies to establish positive relationships and effectively communicate project objectives, details, and benefits.

Base Pay

$118,000.00 - 155,000.00 USD Annual

Bonus: 25% - 40%

The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
