Exemplar Luxury Group is seeking a Manager, People Business Partner to act as a strategic partner to Customer Support, Commercial Strategy, and Analytics. You will guide talent management, performance, career development, employee relations, and workforce planning across business leaders, driving high-impact programs.

The role requires strong HRIS experience (Workday), excellence in stakeholder communication, and ability to work in our NYC offices with a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum of 5+ years in HR Business Partner or related field.
• Experience with HRIS (Workday).
• Proficiency with Google Suite and MS Office, especially Sheets/Excel.
• Experience influencing leaders on talent and employment matters.
• Willing to work up to 3 days a week in Brookfield Place NYC offices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary People Team liaison for your functional groups, building strong relationships with leadership and teams.
• Build relationships with employees at all levels and onboard effectively.
• Drive execution of core HR processes (performance, compensation, talent reviews, development planning).
• Collaborate with People Team Centers of Excellence to deliver tailored solutions.
• Act as a thought partner and coach on talent strategy, org development, and engagement.
• Support change management and help teams navigate organizational transitions.
• Use workforce data to influence decisions and identify risks and opportunities.
• Provide guidance on employee relations and ensure policy/compliance in partnership with Legal.
• Anticipate business needs by considering ELG and employee context.

YOU WILL BE:

The Manager, People Business Partner is a strategic People partner to the Customer Support, Commercial Strategy, and Analytics organizations at Exemplar Luxury Group. This role serves as a co-creator of key People initiatives and a strategic thought partner to business leaders, guiding and supporting efforts in talent management, performance management, career development, employee relations, workforce planning, and change management. The Manager, People Business Partner, will work hand in hand with the business leaders to achieve our business goals and deliver high-impact initiatives that evolve the employee experience. The Manager People Business Partner will spot trends, identify emerging needs, and address them with innovative people programs, tools, and processes

What You Will Do

• Serve as the primary People Team liaison for your functional groups, building strong relationships with leadership and teams.
• Build relationships with employees at all levels, ensuring employees are onboarded effectively into the organization.
• Drive execution of core HR processes (performance management, compensation planning, talent reviews, development planning, etc.) tailored to the needs of the client groups.
• Collaborate with People Team Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, Inclusion & Belonging, etc) to deliver tailored solutions that support department goals and enhance the employee experience.
• Act as a thought partner and coach to department leaders on all aspects of talent strategy, organizational development, and employee engagement.
• Support change management efforts by helping teams navigate organizational transitions and align around new ways of working.
• Use workforce data and insights to influence decision‑making and identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the supported functions.
• Provide guidance on employee relations and ensure compliance with policies and employment law in partnership with the Legal team
• Look ahead to anticipate business needs by thinking critically about ELG and employee needs as the context evolves.

Required Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience working in a HR Business Partner capacity or related field
• Ability to communicate verbal and written information concisely and effectively
• Experience working with HRIS (ie Workday)
• Intermediate knowledge/experience working in Google Suite and MS Office Suite, particularly Google Sheets/Excel
• Experience influencing and advising leaders on talent and employment matters
• Ability to prioritize workload and self manage projects
• Adaptable to changing business needs
• Experience running and facilitating HR programs/processes
• Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs/requirements
• Creative problem solving skills and effective in dealing with ambiguity
• Unwavering commitment to service and quality
• Comfortable to work up to 3 days a week in our Brookfield Place (NYC) Offices

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in ecommerce/retail environment is a plus
• Experience with Workday is a plus

Salary Range $95,790 - $139,000*

Compensation for this role varies by geographic location. The listed range reflects multiple markets, including higher-cost areas. Actual starting pay will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors.
