Job summary

Exemplar Luxury Group seeks an Employee Relations Manager to advise on complex ER matters across retail stores, distribution centers, and corporate offices. You will review disciplinary actions, conduct investigations, and provide policy-driven recommendations to leadership and partners.

You will gather information, analyze data, and collaborate with legal counsel when appropriate, identifying trends and coaching management to prevent conflicts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 5+ years progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in employee relations or investigations.
• Experience supporting a multi-site, diverse workforce including hourly staff, distribution center personnel, and corporate professionals.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to remain objective, untangle complex interpersonal situations, and make sound judgments.
• Proven track record partnering with senior leaders as a trusted resource.

YOU WILL BE

As the Employee Relations Manager you will serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, managing complex employee relations issues across retail stores, distribution centers, and corporate offices. In this role you are responsible for reviewing disciplinary action requests, conducting objective investigations into misconduct and ethics violations, and providing risk-insulated, policy-driven recommendations to leadership and various business partners.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Actively pursue knowledge of retail business practices, policies, organization structure, roles and responsibilities to better understand the business. Gather, organize and analyze complaint information to support written investigative reports. Perform initial analysis of all complaints and requests for disciplinary action. Assemble pertinent data, records and other evidence to support written investigative reports and recommendations for disciplinary action. Partner with management to resolve employee relation issues; provide coaching and counseling to management and staff; collaborate with legal counsel on issues as appropriate. Identify trends and root causes of workplace conflict across varied work environments to proactively recommend training or policy updates. Ad hoc responsibilities as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years dedicated strictly to employee relations or workplace investigations.
• Proven experience supporting a multi-site, diverse workforce, specifically including retail hourly staff, supply chain/distribution center personnel, and corporate professionals.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to remain objective, untangle complex interpersonal situations, and make sound, defensible judgments.
• Verifiable track record of success partnering with senior leaders, serving as a credible and trusted resource.
• Technologically astute strong computer proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint web browsers and tools.

Preferred Qualifications (nice to haves)

Previous experience working in retail environment is a plus. Comfortable working in a remote environment.

Salary Range $95,790 - $139,000* Compensation for this role varies by geographic location. The listed range reflects multiple markets, including higher-cost areas. Actual starting pay will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors.
