Job summary

RXO Inc. is seeking a Manager of Operations Support to establish, implement and maintain Quality Management System processes.

The role focuses on driving key metrics, leading Kaizen events, and translating client requirements into scalable warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong Lean background, experience with statistics tools like Crystal Ball, and a track record of improving business processes within distribution/e-commerce environments.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience leading value stream assessments and Lean improvement events (Kaizen events).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent related work or military experience.
• Experience with statistical software, process mapping/modeling and prediction modeling tools.
• Distribution and e-commerce experience with continuous process improvement methodologies.
• Experience improving business processes and strong leadership and communication skills.
• Results-oriented, highly organized, able to handle ambiguity and promote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Drive key quality, inventory and other critical metrics across the site using continuous improvement tools and processes.
• Schedule, review and monitor work instructions with supervisors and associates; lead teams to safe, efficient execution.
• Review training status and schedule training per frequency; ensure requirements are met.
• Write specifications for new developments and system enhancements.
• Analyze client requirements, determine fit and customizations, develop proposals and cost estimates.
• Serve as project manager for system implementations and upgrades; provide ongoing support.

On our team, you’ll have the support to excel at work, and the resources to build a career you can be proud of.**What your day-to-day will look like:*** Drive key quality, inventory and other critical metrics across the site by utilizing continuous improvement tools and processes* Schedule, review and monitor work instructions with supervisors and associates in designated areas of responsibility; lead associates to safely and efficiently execute daily roles* Review facility/department training status and schedule training according to set frequency; ensure training requirements are met in a timely manner* Write specifications for new developments and system enhancements* Analyze client requirements, determine fit and customizations, develop proposals, gather supporting data for cost estimates and present RXO’s capabilities and solutions to prospective clients* Serve as project manager for system implementations and upgrades; provide ongoing support as needed* Support implementations by delivering documented implementation plans, configuring systems, training users and providing post-implementation support* Perform process and data modeling* Generate project ideas and solutions; implement changes within and across departments* Utilize and maintain warehouse management system processes to deliver appropriate work documents and outcomes**At a minimum, you’ll need:*** 5 years of relevant work experience* Experience leading value stream assessments and Lean improvement events (Kaizen events)I**t’d be great if you also have:*** Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent related work or military experience* Experience with statistical software, process mapping/modeling and prediction modeling tools skills (Crystal Ball)* Distribution and e-commerce experience, with heavy utilization of continuous process improvement methodologies* Experience improving business processes* Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization; strong verbal and written communication skills* A results-oriented work style; highly organized with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to deal with ambiguity* The ability to maintain a positive attitude and promote teamwork in meeting goals and objectives **Does this sound like you?
