Job summary

Hyve Solutions in Olive Branch, MS is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to accurately pick product based on part numbers, maintain records of shipped merchandise, report discrepancies, and ensure 100% customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety and daily housekeeping in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Windows NT, Microsoft Word, Excel and email.
• Must be able to effectively work within a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• May lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to use hand-truck, pallet jack and operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick product based on part number and quantities on assigned pick lists
• Maintain records of merchandise shipped
• Report discrepancies accurately
• Meet and maintain departmental productivity standards
• Ensure housekeeping is a daily priority
• Verify products to reduce errors while picking/cycle counting/put away/receiving product properly to meet 100% customer satisfaction
• Work in a safe manner and report hazards and violations to the employer.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - by monitoring Email and reply to an update status of Work Orders, Sale Order, and Material Transfer Order

• Be able to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to reach and bend
• Ability use hand-truck, pallet jack and operate a forklift
