Amazon is seeking a Manager in Bellevue, Washington to lead a team of Operation Engineers and bridge Operations and Engineering. You will own sourcing problems, consolidate reporting, and translate operational pain points into engineering requirements.
You will oversee up to six engineers, develop dashboards for real‑time program health, and collaborate across Engineering, Planning, Operations, Material Handling, and Equipment to improve launch readiness and cross‑functional outcomes.
Our logistics teams are changing the way we interact with customers around the globe every single day and solving some of the biggest logistical challenges facing not just Amazon, but the entire industry. We are looking for a Manager in Bellevue, Washington to join the team.
This leader will oversee a team of Operation Engineers who act as single liaison between Operations and Engineering, owning (1) sourcing problems: filtering signals from DSP feedback and ops listening tools to identify and prioritize engineering programs; (2) centralizing reporting: owning consolidated operational dashboards (e.g., Pulse Dashboard) that provide a single pane of glass across SP&E programs; and (3) bridging the gap: serving as the dedicated conduit that translates operational pain points into actionable engineering requirements, eliminating the current ad‑hoc handoff model.
You review the program dashboard for anything that flips to at‑risk, unblock an engineer on a stalled review, and join a stage‑gate review with partner teams to align on launch readiness. You coach a report through a root‑cause analysis, review a recommendation before it goes to leadership, and prep your weekly roll‑up for the business review. The role balances people leadership, technical judgment, and cross‑functional collaboration.
The team works collaboratively with Engineering, Planning, Operations, Material Handling, and Equipment teams to improve sourcing and reporting processes.
