Job summary

Amazon is seeking a seasoned technical product/program manager to lead multi-team initiatives that span engineering, operations, and software tool integrations. You will coordinate releases, manage risks, and balance business priorities with technical feasibility.

You will partner with software and hardware teams, driving process improvements and scalable delivery practices across complex programs. This role emphasizes collaboration, measurable outcomes, and customer-focused execution.

Key job responsibilities
  • Lead multiple, complex cross-functional initiatives simultaneously from initiation through delivery.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations, and communicate status across multiple stakeholder levels.
  • Make smart tradeoffs in system design and execution, balancing business needs with technical constraints.
  • Create mechanisms to drive timely, accurate, and comprehensive project execution. Create clarity, eliminate obstacles and drive issue resolution to ensure deliverables & timelines are met.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to ensure delivery mechanisms improve over time.
A day in the life
  • IT interface with construction management for new facility construction.
  • Delivery of new COTS software tooling (CAD, PLM, ERP, more) to support the organization.
  • Setup of fundamental Amazon services (ticketing, etc) for org-wide scaled use.
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
