Job summary

JLL in Flushing, NY seeks a facilities operations leader responsible for the safe and efficient management of electrical, mechanical, structural and life safety systems on-site.

You will build strong client relationships, drive budgeted performance, and ensure contract compliance while guiding a team and coordinating with engineering and operations staff.

• Ability to manage budgets and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for efficient operations and maintenance of facility systems.
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships.
• Conduct conflict resolution and solution analysis.
• Manage contract compliance and quality control.
• Oversee JLL Engineering compliance program.
• Prepare detailed operation budgets and reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for the efficient operations and maintenance of all facility electrical, mechanical, structural and life safety.
• Develop and maintain positive client relationship.
• Conflict resolution and solution analysis.
• Provides contract compliance management and quality control.
• Responsible for JLL Engineering compliance program.
• Preparation of detailed budgets for operations.
• Preparation of regular and ad-hoc reports.
• Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• High School Diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, data center, UPS, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, etc.
• Excellent communications - written and verbal.
• Regular and predictable attendance in order to support the needs of the business and client.

Expected compensation for this position

• 7,500,000.00 - 100,000.00 USD per year
• Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
