JLL is hiring an on-site Facilities Technician in Oakbrook Terrace, IL to maintain and monitor essential building systems. You will keep mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life-safety, and control systems operational in line with standards.

The role includes HVAC maintenance, vendor oversight, and on-site technical support across facility locations; a valid driver’s license is required and visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and monitor repairs for the facility's mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life-safety, and control systems to ensure that all building systems are maintained in accordance with applicable standards.
• Maintain HVAC systems and related equipment through cleaning, inspections, calibration, adjustments, and replacement of parts to support optimum performance.
• Review monthly client service-request summaries to identify and correct recurring operational issues; evaluate vendors and suppliers based on service quality and competitive pricing, and verify delivery accuracy.

Perform maintenance and monitor repairs for the facility's mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life-safety, and control systems to ensure that all building systems are maintained in accordance with applicable standards. Maintain responsibility for facility services, preventive maintenance, purchasing and inventory control, contracted maintenance, general maintenance, and technical operations. Maintain HVAC systems and related equipment through cleaning, inspections, calibration, adjustments, and replacement of parts to support optimum performance.

Review monthly client service-request summaries to identify and correct recurring operational issues. Evaluate vendors and suppliers regularly based on service quality and competitive pricing, and verify delivery accuracy, including quantities, pricing, and product descriptions. Record equipment readings and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper operation. Comply with departmental policies regarding the safe storage, use, and disposal of hazardous materials while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Conduct periodic inspections of tools and instruments, monitor the quality and cost of work performed by outside contractors, and perform any other duties and tasks as assigned. Estimated compensation for this position:

107,203.00 - 107,203.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
