Job Summary

This position is accountable for the overall supervision of direct and indirect care of patients and families. The role participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of customer service based on the family-centered care model. It manages human resources including performance and staff development, oversees departmental performance evaluation activities, and facilitates ongoing improvements to performance and safety.

Qualifications

• Education: 4-year Nursing or related field (required). Either Bachelor's or Master's must be in nursing (required). Master's Degree Nursing or related field (preferred).
• Licenses and Certifications: RN – Registered Nurse. CA-BRN – California Board of Registered Nursing (required).
• Work Experience: Minimum one (1) year management experience (required). Minimum three (3) years clinical experience, one (1) year of which in pediatric critical care nursing (required). Minimum five (5) years increasingly responsible experience demonstrating proficiency in the skills and knowledge required to perform the job (preferred).
