Job summary

Fortune Bay Resort Casino is seeking a Manager on Duty (MOD) to lead and supervise resort and casino operations in the absence of management. This hands-on role blends operational oversight with guest service excellence and regulatory compliance, serving as a critical link between leadership and frontline staff.

You will oversee multiple departments, ensure staffing, enforce policies, and support safety and guest satisfaction while reporting to the General Manager.

Qualifications

Experience in hospitality, casino, or resort operations.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff.
Knowledge of gaming regulations and safety procedures.
Proven time management and supervisory abilities.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations across hotel, casino, dining, and facilities.
Maintain understanding of department objectives and guest service goals.
Ensure smooth inter-department coordination and service flow.
Monitor staffing levels and adjust schedules as needed.
Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and safety rules.
Provide coaching and corrective action to staff as needed.
Resolve conflicts between guests and employees.
Prepare and distribute daily leadership reports and logs.
