About the Position

We are seeking an experienced and people-focused Manager of Washing Services to lead our washing division and oversee daily operations across window cleaning, exterior washing, and related exterior-maintenance services.

This is a hands‑on leadership position responsible for managing field teams, customer service, scheduling, equipment, quality, safety, financial performance, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has experience in window cleaning, power washing, exterior cleaning, or a related home‑services environment and knows how to build and develop strong service teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Washing Division, including window cleaning, exterior washing, and related services.
• Lead 8–10 technicians during the slow season and 15–20 technicians during peak season.
• Oversee Customer Service Coordinators.
• Manage daily scheduling, equipment, vehicles, quality control, safety, and field support.
• Ensure reliable, high‑quality service and compliance with customer and safety standards.
• Establish and monitor KPIs related to revenue, margins, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer questions and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Maintain strong client communication to encourage repeat business.
• Sell washing services through in‑home and recurring estimates.
• Troubleshoot operational issues, including truck and equipment failures.
• Work with company leadership on division goals, long‑term strategy, marketing, and sales initiatives.
• Analyze performance data and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Train, coach, and develop new and existing employees.
• Build a positive, accountable, growth‑oriented, team‑first culture.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Hands‑on experience in window cleaning, power washing, exterior cleaning, or exterior maintenance operations.
• Experience leading, supervising, coaching, and developing service teams.
• Strong people‑management, customer‑service, operational, and problem‑solving skills.
• The ability to manage schedules, field teams, equipment, vehicles, quality, and safety.
• Strong analytical and financial skills, including the ability to manage revenue, margins, efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• A people‑first leadership style based on humility, care, accountability, and teamwork.
• Experience as an Operations Manager, General Manager, or Owner/Operator in cleaning, washing, or home services is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Relevant trade or management experience; no specific degree is required.

Work Environment

This is an operational and field‑involved position rather than a strictly office‑based role. The primary base is Fort Atkinson, with service throughout surrounding southeastern Wisconsin communities. Work includes both residential homes and commercial properties, with services including window cleaning, power/exterior washing, roof cleaning, gutter cleaning, and related exterior maintenance.

Compensation & Benefits

• First-year total earnings: $70,000–$80,000 (Base salary plus performance-based bonuses)
• 401(k) with company match up to 3%
• Benefits stipend
• Company vehicle provided for business travel and commuting
• Personal use of the vehicle is permitted with employee‑paid fuel
• Potential opportunity for existing window‑cleaning business owners to sell their book of business to the company as part of joining the team.
