Responsibilities

  • Lead and support strategic initiatives and projects aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Coordinate project planning activities, including timelines, milestones, resources, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Partner with leaders to ensure effective execution of assigned initiatives.
  • Track progress, monitor deliverables, and provide status updates to leadership.
  • Assist in deployment and rollout of enterprise programs, technology-enabled solutions, and new processes across practices and support centers.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement through feedback, data analysis, and process reviews.
  • Facilitate working sessions, governance forums, and stakeholder alignment discussions.
  • Develop implementation plans, communications, training materials, and adoption tools.
  • Standardize practices across markets and functions, documenting and refining processes.
  • Monitor performance metrics and recommend improvements.
  • Create presentations, dashboards, and executive summaries for leadership.
  • Collaborate with IT, Revenue Cycle, HR, Finance, and other teams to advance objectives.
  • Support change management and adoption of new processes and programs.
  • Maintain project documentation and governance materials using Smartsheet, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

Here are some of the duties you will be responsible for:
  • As a Strategic Operations Manager at Gastro Health, this role supports the execution of enterprise strategic initiatives, special
    projects, operational improvement efforts, and cross-functional transformation programs. Working closely with physicians,
    operational leaders, and support center teams, the Manager translates organizational priorities into actionable project plans,
    coordinates implementation activities, and supports the adoption of new processes, programs, and capabilities.
    The Manager serves as a bridge between strategy and execution, helping ensure initiatives are effectively deployed, monitored, and
    sustained. Through project management, stakeholder engagement, analytical thinking, and collaborative leadership, this position
    contributes to organizational effectiveness, operational excellence, physician experience, and patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support strategic initiatives and special projects aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Coordinate project planning activities, including timelines, milestones, resource requirements, dependencies, risks, and
    mitigation plans.
  • Partner with operational, clinical, financial, and support center leaders to ensure effective execution of assigned initiatives.
  • Track project progress, monitor deliverables, and communicate clear status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Assist in the deployment and rollout of enterprise programs, operational changes, technology-enabled solutions, and new
    business processes across practices and support center functions.
  • Identify operational improvement opportunities through stakeholder feedback, observation, data analysis, and process
    review.
  • Facilitate working sessions, project meetings, governance forums, and stakeholder alignment discussions.
  • Develop implementation plans, communications, training materials, job aids, and adoption support tools for new initiatives.
  • Support organizational standardization by documenting, refining, and implementing scalable best practices across markets
    and functions.
  • Monitor project and operational performance metrics and develop recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Create presentations, executive summaries, dashboards, decision materials, and status reports for leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with Information Technology, Revenue Cycle, Operations, Human Resources, Finance, Clinical Affairs, and other
    functional teams to advance project objectives.
  • Support change management efforts by fostering stakeholder engagement, managing communications, and encouraging
    adoption of new processes and programs.
  • Maintain project documentation, governance materials, and initiative tracking tools using platforms such as Smartsheet,
    Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Participate in enterprise transformation initiatives and organizational improvement efforts as assigned.
  • Travel domestically as needed
Minimum Requirements:
  • 4-6 years of experience in healthcare operations, strategic operations, management consulting, project management, or a
    related field. Experience leading cross-functional projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders is required.
  • Experience supporting operational improvement, standardization initiatives, or enterprise deployments is preferred.
    Physician practice management, ambulatory healthcare, or multi-site healthcare experience is preferred.

  • Change Leadership & Influence - Ability to support organizational change, drive stakeholder adoption, and influence
    outcomes without direct authority while fostering accountability and alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability, Innovation & Results Orientation - Demonstrated attention to detail, adaptability, and commitment to
    achieving results. Ability to leverage technology and innovative approaches to improve operational effectiveness and
    support organizational objectives.
