The leadership team of Mechanical Dynamics & Analysis (MD&A) is looking for Manager of Quality & Continuous Improvement is looking for an individual who has the desire to join a growing organization. The Manager of Quality & Continuous Improvement will oversee the development, implementation and continuous improvement of quality systems and process optimization initiatives across operations. Additionally, will play a hands-on role in the Company’s driving quality program, supporting and leading audits, strengthening internal controls, and collaborate with division leadership and teams to identify and select processes or projects for inclusion in the organization’s continuous improvement initiative.
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
Experience: Minimum 10yrs of related field experience (quality/continuous improvement in Power Generation Industry or related industry)
Knowledge: Process knowledge in Power Industry; detailed knowledge & proficiency in Quality Systems – ISO requirements familiarity; Root Cause Analysis and Corrective/Preventive Action; proficiency in current PC technology & effective use of software to create forms/documents.
Analytical & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision – self-starter; Ability to effectively perform & contribute in a team environment; Ability to effectively work with & accomplish multiple priorities; Effective organizational and communication skills; Customer focused; Ability to identify, analyze, & solve Quality problems with practical solutions; Provide technical guidance on Quality issues.
Physical Demands: Exposure to industrial and office environments; Ability to travel to field locations when required. The location of the role is in-office in one of MD&A's locations located in Latham NY, St. Louis MO, Houston TX, or Euclid OH.
