Silgan Containers in Brookfield, WI is seeking a Manager of Operations Accounting to lead plant finance activities, cost accounting, and variance analysis. This on-site role partners with corporate finance, plant accounting, and operations leadership to ensure accurate month-end closes and robust reporting across multiple manufacturing sites.

You will build a high-performing team, own the month-end close, analyze overhead and inventory variances, and support internal controls and SOX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience in manufacturing.
• 3+ years of cost accounting experience.
• 1+ year of supervisory or management experience.
• ERP experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne or similar.
• Strong Excel skills for reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Knowledge of internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Ability to present complex information to cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting of plant operations, including cost accounting, inventory control, and variance analysis.
