This role partners with plant operations, procurement, vendors, and finance teams to support financial accuracy and operational visibility across the business. ### **Key Responsibilities*** Validate and process metal receipts while resolving pricing discrepancies, non-receipts, and purchase order variances* Partner with vendors and plants to resolve Advance Shipping Notification (ASN) issues* Support communication and issue resolution related to supplier payments and procurement discrepancies* Prepare and analyze metal price variances and customer pass-through reporting* Complete monthly journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial analysis* Review and investigate freight invoices and related discrepancies* Process mill and vendor claims and support monthly executive reporting* Maintain and revise standard costs for steel coils and support ongoing cost accounting initiatives* Support ad hoc analysis, process improvements, and cross-functional accounting projects ## **What You Bring**The ideal candidate combines accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively across teams in a manufacturing environment. ### **Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting* 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally within manufacturing accounting, inventory accounting, operations accounting, or cost accounting environments* Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE) or similar ERP systems* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and reconciliation modeling* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills* Ability to communicate effectively with finance and operational teams* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment ## **Why This Role Stands Out**This opportunity offers exposure to manufacturing operations, supply chain activity, inventory analysis, cost accounting, and operational finance while partnering with teams across the organization.
