Qualifications

DESCRIPTION:

The Manager of Information Technology Services is an Act 93 position in Tier A, Grade 9, responsible for leading the District's enterprise applications, software systems, data integrations, and technology projects. This role provides strategic and operational oversight for the planning, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of business and instructional applications, ensuring technology solutions align with District goals, operational needs, and budgetary requirements.

The Manager serves as the District's Student Information System (SIS) Administrator, overseeing the operation, support, configuration, security, and integration of Infinite Campus and related systems. This role collaborates with district departments to ensure the integrity, availability, and effective use of student, staff, and operational data.

The Manager directs the daily operations of the Application Services Team (3 members) and the Technology Support Specialists/Help Desk (3 members). This position ensures consistent, reliable, and customer-focused technology services across the district.

EssentialDutiesandResponsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications and technology systems.
  • Serve as the District's Student Information System (SIS) Administrator, ensuring the effective operation, security, and integration of Infinite Campus and related systems.
  • Collaborate with district leaders, staff, vendors, and stakeholders to identify needs and deliver effective technology solutions.
  • Manage technology projects, resources, budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Monitor team performance, project progress, and service delivery metrics, providing regular updates and recommendations.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, customer service, innovation, professional growth, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and resolve operational, technical, and personnel issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensure the integrity, availability, and effective use of student, staff, and operational data.
