Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation is hiring a Manager of Analytics & Reporting for the IFM Performance & Sales Analytics team. The role leads monthly financial reporting, analyzes claims trends, and develops dashboards and forecasts for telesales and call center performance.

The position oversees a team of analysts, collaborates with Finance, Sales, Operations, Actuarial, and IFM leadership, and helps translate data into actionable recommendations to optimize performance and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years experience in data/analytics, healthcare network/reimbursement, or management consulting, OR Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience in health care / health insurance
• 1 year of management / leadership experience
• Strong analytical ability – comfortable both with manipulating and analyzing large datasets and with presenting that data in an easy-to-understand manner
• Analytical strategic thinker, with the business acumen to analyze data and translate into actionable takeaways
• Articulate communicator to executive audiences
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs or processes in a manner that drives to tangible impact
• Ability to manage multiple complex priorities. Flexible, resourceful, able to work in an ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver insights and reporting that drive financial, sales, and operational performance.
• Lead development of monthly financial reporting, including analysis of key business results, performance drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for business leaders.
• Oversee claims trend analysis, dashboard reporting, telesales forecasting, call center performance reporting, ad hoc analytics, and performance management support.
• Oversee telesales invoice validation and accrual development to ensure accurate financial reporting and vendor management.
• Lead and develop a team of analysts with coaching, prioritization, and oversight.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Operations, Actuarial, and IFM leadership to enhance analytics capabilities and drive data-informed outcomes.

The Manager, Analytics & Reporting on the Individual & Family Markets (IFM) Performance & Sales Analytics team is responsible for delivering insights and reporting that drive financial, sales, and operational performance. This role leads the development of monthly financial reporting, including analysis of key business results, performance drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities. The Manager serves as a strategic partner to business leaders by translating complex data into actionable recommendations that support informed decision‑making. Key responsibilities include claims trend analysis and dashboard reporting, telesales call and application forecasting, call center performance reporting, ad hoc claims analytics, and performance management support. The role also oversees telesales invoice validation and accrual development to ensure accurate financial reporting and vendor management. Through a combination of reporting, forecasting, and analytical modeling, the Manager helps optimize business performance and identify opportunities for growth and improvement. In addition, the Manager leads and develops a team of analysts, providing coaching, prioritization, and oversight to ensure high‑quality deliverables. This position collaborates closely with Finance, Sales, Operations, Actuarial, and IFM leadership to enhance analytics capabilities, improve reporting processes, and drive data‑informed business outcomes across the IFM organization.

Required Job Qualifications

Preferred Job Qualifications

• Advanced degree such as Juris Doctor, MBA, or MHA.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in SQL and Excel
• Experience managing a data & analytics team
• Ability to create a dynamic and visually engaging
• dashboard leveraging data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Experience of Healthcare industry - payor, provider, pharmacy

This is a Flex (Hybrid) Role: 3 days in office, 2 days work from home.
