Job summary

HCSC is seeking a Manager, Analytics & Reporting for the IFM Performance & Sales Analytics team. This role leads monthly financial reporting, analyzes key business results, trends and risks, and translates data into actionable recommendations for executive decision-making.

You will oversee claims trend analysis, dashboard reporting, telesales forecasting, and vendor management while coaching a team of analysts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree and 3 years experience in data/analytics, healthcare network/reimbursement, or management consulting, OR Bachelors degree and 6 years of experience in health care / health insurance
• 1 year of management / leadership experience
• Strong analytical ability—comfortable with large datasets and presenting data clearly
• Analytical thinker with business acumen to translate data into takeaways
• Articulate communicator to executive audiences
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs or processes with tangible impact
• Ability to manage multiple complex priorities; flexible, resourceful in ambiguous environments

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Manager, Analytics & Reporting on the Individual & Family Markets (IFM) Performance & Sales Analytics team is responsible for delivering insights and reporting that drive financial, sales, and operational performance. This role leads the development of monthly financial reporting, including analysis of key business results, performance drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities. The Manager serves as a strategic partner to business leaders by translating complex data into actionable recommendations that support informed decision-making.

Key responsibilities include claims trend analysis and dashboard reporting, telesales call and application forecasting, call center performance reporting, ad hoc claims analytics, and performance management support. The role also oversees telesales invoice validation and accrual development to ensure accurate financial reporting and vendor management. Through a combination of reporting, forecasting, and analytical modeling, the Manager helps optimize business performance and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

In addition, the Manager leads and develops a team of analysts, providing coaching, prioritization, and oversight to ensure high-quality deliverables. This position collaborates closely with Finance, Sales, Operations, Actuarial, and IFM leadership to enhance analytics capabilities, improve reporting processes, and drive data-informed business outcomes across the IFM organization.

Required Job Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree and 3 years experience in data/analytics, healthcare network/reimbursement, or management consulting, OR Bachelors degree and 6 years of experience in health care / health insurance
• 1 year of management / leadership experience
• Strong ana lytical ability - comfortable both with manipulating and analyzing large datasets and with presenting that data in an easy-to-understand manner
• Analytical strategic thinker, with the business acumen to analyze data and translate into actionable takeaways
• A rticulate communicator to executive audiences
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs or processes in a manner that drives to tangible impact
• Ability to manage multiple complex priorities . Flexible, resourceful, able to work in an ambiguous environment.

Preferred Job Qualifications

• Experience with health plan reimbursement (e.g., network contracting or medical drug reimbursement).
• Experience managing a data/analytics team
• Bachelor degree in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics.
• Advanced degree such as Juris Doctor, MBA , or MHA .
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in SQL and Excel
• Experience managing a data & analytics team
• Ability to create a dynamic and visually engaging
• dashboard leveraging data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Experience of Healthcare industry - payor, provider, pharmacy

This is a Flex (Hybrid) Role: 3 days in office, 2 days work from home.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Base Pay Range $102,000.00 - $184,300.00
