Equine Network is seeking a driven and experienced Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to join our fast-paced, high-growth team. In this role, you will be responsible for analysis of data and key performance indicator trends, creating essential KPI dashboards across various revenue lines, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes. This position is ideal for a self-directed professional excited to use their analytical skills and business acumen to identify value creation opportunities and spearhead improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Dashboard Creation:

• Architect calculations and input fields needed for business unit KPI dashboards
• Provide guidance on metrics selection to best represent business performance
• Validate KPI metrics against financial data for completeness and accuracy

Financial Planning & Analysis:

• Provide thought leadership for long-range financial modeling and forecasting
• Develop analysis to better understand underlying business drivers and performance
• Assess opportunities and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Support monthly reporting and compliance certification submissions
• Assist with preparing financial packages and board decks for periodic meetings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic and operational initiatives

Budget, Forecast, and Variance Analysis:

• Support annual forecasting and budgeting processes, including communication and coordination
• Participate in monthly close process ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and robust data-driven analysis

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a highly analytical, fast-paced environment
• Big 4 experience and/or relevant functional experience strongly preferred
• Proven ability to communicate complex findings clearly to stakeholders
• Highly proficient with financial modeling and analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that build rapport and drives accountability
• Ability to independently pursue and implement solutions to complex financial, strategic, and operational challenges
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and business judgment skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite, Adaptive, Blackline, and/or other financial & analytical tools
• CPA qualification or public accounting experience a plus
• Bachelors Degree required; advanced degree a plus
