Job summary

CarePartners Health Services, a member of Mission Health, is seeking a Manager of Facility Management in Asheville, NC to lead daily operations of the Facility Management department. You will coordinate maintenance schedules, projects, and contractors to keep buildings safe and compliant.

Reporting to the Director, you will maintain asset inventories, oversee repairs and renovations, and ensure adherence to federal and state codes while supporting patient- and staff-focused care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering-related field with 3+ year experience in facility management.
• Associate’s Degree in engineering-related field or trade/technical certification or license, 5+ years facility mgmt, 3+ years supervisory.
• 10+ years experience in facility management with 3+ years supervisory responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Facility Management department.
• Arrange maintenance schedules and projects; coordinate personnel and contractors.
• Maintain inventory of infrastructure assets, tools and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulatory codes and safety standards.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering-related field

Associate’s Degree in engineering-related field or trade/technical certification

10+ years experience in facility management with supervision

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager of Facility Management is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Facility Management department. In collaboration with the Director of Facility Management, the Manager of Facility Management is responsible for arranging maintenance schedules and projects, orchestrating personnel and contractors to complete building repairs and renovations, and maintaining inventory of infrastructure assets, maintenance tools, and supplies utilizing HCA Healthcare technology platforms. The Manager of Facility Management remains current and well-versed in federal and state regulatory code standards, and maintains the facility in a way that ensures the highest level of safety and compliance at all times.

What qualifications you will need:

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering-related field with 3+ year experience in facility management OR
• Associate’s Degree in engineering-related field or trade/technical certification or license, 5+ years experience in facility management of which 3 years are in a supervisory role OR
• 10+ years experience in facility management of which 3 years are in a supervisory role Required

Preferred Education, Experience, and/or Credentials:

• Experience in facility management in an acute care setting
• Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM)
