Job summary

Nbutexas in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Manager of Executive Operations to work directly with the President & CEO, coordinating board activities and translating vision into actionable plans.

You will lead cross-functional strategic initiatives, prepare board materials, and partner with leadership to drive organizational priorities while maintaining discretion with sensitive information.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a Board of Directors or governing body.
  • Experience reporting to CEO/President.
  • Proven track record leading executive-level projects.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Skilled in building relationships and influencing at all levels.
  • Professionalism and discretion with sensitive information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary liaison for Board and committee operations.
  • Partner with President & CEO to translate vision into actionable plans and drive strategy.
  • Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives and manage executive project execution from planning to measurement.
  • Prepare board agendas, meeting materials, executive briefings, and decision-support resources.
  • Facilitate communication between departments to advance organizational priorities.
  • Foster relationships with leadership, board members, and external partners.

Manager of Executive Operations Requirements & Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or coordinating activities for a Board of Directors or governing body
  • Prior experience reporting to and working directly with a CEO/President
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field
  • Proven track record leading executive-level projects or strategic organizational initiatives
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and project management skills
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
  • Skilled in building relationships and influencing at all organizational levels
  • High level of professionalism and discretion with sensitive information
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general business technology
Manager of Executive Operations Preferred Background & Skills
  • Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or other mission-driven organizations
  • Project management certification (PMP or similar)
  • Familiarity with process improvements, automation, or AI-enabled business solutions
Manager of Executive Operations Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary liaison and coordinator for the Board of Directors and committee operations
