HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke's is seeking a Manager of Environmental Services to lead the Environmental Services department across hospital locations.

The role requires ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards while maintaining a clean, safe environment for patients and staff. The position includes oversight of shifts, reporting, and collaboration with leadership to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Three years’ experience managing environmental services in a hospital setting.
  • Knowledge of hospital operations is preferred.
  • Knowledge of hospital financial metrics is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and manages Environmental Services operations across assigned hospital/departments.
  • Ensures compliance with state, local, federal, and Joint Commission standards.
  • Maintains sanitary, aseptic, and aesthetically pleasing environments.
  • Prepares department records, reports and analyses as required.
  • Oversees daily department functions and staffing coordination.
  • Aligns department goals with organizational integrity and policies.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager Environmental Services leads, manages the operations and activities of the Environmental Services Department within assigned hospital and hospital department/campus locations. Managers provide consistent, high-quality service in a sanitary environment while ensuring State, Local, Federal and Joint Commission regulations, established policies and procedures and department standards of performance are met.

Major Responsibilities
  • Evaluates existing systems and processes, initiates change and improvements, and make suggestions to the Director
  • Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with all current policies, procedures and regulatory standards (TJC, OSHA, EEOC and others) within all Environmental Services areas.
  • Consistently demonstrates the organization's commitment for and adherence to sound ethical business practices in accordance with the Corporate Integrity and Compliance Program, annual work plan and established policies and procedures
  • Manages the effective operation of all Environmental Services activities in the organization to provide for an aseptic and aesthetically pleasing environment through coordinating and supervising all functions of the department.
  • Prepares or directs the preparation of department records as well as recurring and special reports and analyses indicating bed management turnaround times and so forth as required/requested.

What qualifications will you need
  • College Degree preferred
  • High School Diploma Required
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in managing environmental services Required
  • Knowledge of hospital and health care operations preferred
  • Knowledge of hospital and health care financial metrics preferred
