Good Samaritan Hospital in Silicon Valley seeks a Manager of Emergency Services to lead the ED team, drive clinical and operational performance, and partner with physicians, nurses and staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

You will supervise personnel, implement care plans and policies, and guide the department through complex emergencies while focusing on patient outcomes and staff development.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in California required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Certifications required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Oversee activities, supervision, management and direction of the Emergency Services Department.
• Assist the Director in maintaining high clinical and operational performance.
• Provide leadership to Emergency Services personnel and students and coordinate with physicians and staff.

Job Summary and Qualifications

• You will beresponsible for the activities, supervision, management and direction of the Emergency Services Department in accordance with organizational and departmental philosophy and goals
• This position will assist the Director in maintaining the highest degree of clinical and operational performance of the Department
• As the manager, you will be responsible for leadership of Emergency Services personnel and/ or students and functions as a resource for physicians, nursing staff and patients, the delivery of professional nursing care, and leadership to staff
• You will require the basic understanding and ability to utilize the nursing process, develop and enforce guidelines of medical plan of care and departmental policies, and assess patients in order to plan, intervene and evaluate care

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with the Board of Registered Nurses of the State of California required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Certifications required
