Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical practice experience.
• Current RN license in state of practice or active compact license; BLS within 30 days; ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality, patient-centered care through direction and supervision of all house-wide functions during a designated shift.
• Participate as an active member of the nursing management team and manage activities and personnel in absence of administration.
• Monitor, evaluate, and deliver nursing care per established policies to meet patient and family needs.
• Respond to all emergency codes and coordinate with medical examiner, Police, Fire departments, and organ donation agencies.
• Coordinate with management to ensure staff productivity and appropriate resource utilization.

Job Summary And Qualifications

• You will ensure high quality, patient-centered care through direction and supervision of all house-wide functions during a designated shift
• The House Supervisor participates as an active member of the nursing management team and assumes authority to manage all activities and personnel in conjunction with and in the absence of hospital administration
• You will participate in the monitoring, evaluation, and delivery of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures to ensure patient and family needs are assessed and met
• You will respond to all emergency codes within the hospital and communicate with medical examiner, Police and Fire departments, and organ donation agencies
• You will coordinate with management/administrative team to ensure staff productivity and appropriate resource utilization to achieve high quality patient care while meeting financial performance goals and objectives

What qualifications you will need:

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• 5+ years experience in clinical practice required
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
