Manager of Electrical Engineering (M/F/D)

The Electrical Engineering Manager leads a team of engineers responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems and controls for integration projects. This role ensures compliance with industry standards, drives innovation, and supports cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

What you’ll be handling

• Manages and mentors a team of Electrical Engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Performs personnel management duties including, but not limited to: recruiting, training, scheduling, performance management, compensation management, etc.
• Oversees electrical engineering activities supporting multiple projects from concept through go-live and manages onsite electrical logistics and handover to electrical installation.
• Oversees implementation of all red lines and final documentation of control systems.
• Guides the electrical design, power distribution, and safety compliance of control systems, reviewing and approving schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Ensures all electrical designs meet applicable codes, regulatory requirements, and TGW and customer standards.

What you’ll need

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Controls-related field (Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering) or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: Seven (7) or more years of Controls or Electrical Engineering experience in industrial or material‑handling environment, with previous management experience.
• Travel: Up to 20% domestic and international travel, as required.
• Demonstrated experience supporting full design-to-production project lifecycles.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to manage interpersonal conflict.
• Experience with Siemens TIA Portal, Step 7, or equivalent knowledge.
