Salary Range:

The expected salary range for this position is $150,000.00-$155,250.00. Please note that the final offer amount may vary based on experience and skillset of the selected candidate.The Manager of Attorney Recruitment is responsible for assisting the Director of Attorney Recruitment with all phases of attorney recruitment firm-wide focusing 70% of his or her responsibilities on lateral hiring and 30% of his or her responsibilities on entry-level hiring for all Haynes and Boone offices.

Essential Duties

Lateral Program

Manage all aspects of lateral recruitment including interacting with legal search firms, screening resumes, position postings, conducting searches for potential laterals, communications with candidates, scheduling interviews, drafting offer letters, assisting with conflicts and background checks, maintaining lateral statistics, updating databases, conducting new hire preparation and orientation, and assisting with integration of new attorneys into the firm. This person will work closely with the Director of Attorney Recruitment on strategic growth initiatives relating to lateral hiring, including lateral partner hiring.

Entry-Level Program

Manage all aspects of entry-level hiring (1Ls, 2Ls, 3Ls) including maintaining entry-level section hiring needs, screening resumes, posting positions, communicating with candidates and law schools, coordinating of on campus interview participation, campus outreach/events/sponsorships, scheduling interviews, drafting offer letters, assisting with conflicts and background checks, maintaining entry-level hiring statistics, and updating databases. Provide guidance on summer program. Provide guidance on summer program.

Other Duties

Other responsibilities include assisting the Director of Attorney Recruitment with preparing budgets and compiling and analyzing recruiting statistics.

Reporting Relationship

The Manager of Attorney Recruitment reports to the Director of Attorney Recruitment, Firm Hiring Partner, and Hiring Partners in all offices.

Subordinate Staff: 2 Recruiting Coordinators, 1 Recruiting Assistant.

Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience

  • 7 + years recruiting experience (preferably in a legal services industry)

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to move around the office up to 15% of the time to make copies, fax, file, etc. Remains stationary at least 85% of the time. This position operates computers and other office productivity machines (e.g., fax machine, copier, printer, etc.) on a regular basis. Occasionally required to move documents or files weighing up to 15 lbs. This position requires constant communication and exchange of information with the Firm attorneys, clients and staff. This position must be able to inspect and observe information on a computer screen at least 80% of the time. When coordinating/attending special events, might be required to move around up to 100% of the time.

Working Conditions
