The Network Engineering Manager will oversee IT infrastructure, including network services, cloud environments, data center facilities and remote offices. The position involves collaboration with key stakeholders, such as application development teams and other infrastructure functions, to develop solutions aligned with architectural principles, utilizing common services and solutions while adhering to financial targets defined by Technology leadership.

We are seeking an experienced leader who is passionate about learning, mentoring, and addressing complex issues. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in network design, implementation, and maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and security for our Financial operations. You will lead a global team of Network Engineers working hands-on alongside your team as well as serving as a strategic advisor and architect.

How you will provide meaningful contributions:

1. Network Services Management:
   • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
   • Manage network security appliances and services, including Cisco and Meraki Firewalls and F5 LTM load balancers.
   • Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability, implementing necessary improvements or upgrades.
   • Develop and enforce network policies, procedures, and standards.
2. Cloud Services Management:
   • Lead the strategy, deployment, and management of cloud services, AWS and Azure, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
   • Work closely with internal teams to ensure secure and efficient cloud operations.
   • Implement cloud security and compliance controls, with a focus on cost optimization and performance tuning.
3. Team Leadership and Development:
   • Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and guidance to a team of network engineers, system administrators, and cloud specialists.
   • Build a high-performance culture by setting clear objectives, defining expectations, and holding team members accountable for results.
   • Identify and address team skill gaps, and proactively plan for succession and resource needs to meet evolving business demands.
   • Promote a culture of transparency, open communication, and continuous improvement, motivating the team to achieve high levels of productivity and engagement.
   • Lead by example, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
4. Project Management:
   • Plan, manage, and execute infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and solutions.
   • Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for IT infrastructure initiatives.
5. Security and Compliance:
   • Ensure all IT infrastructure components comply with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
   • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to implement and maintain robust security controls.
   • Oversee the implementation of firewall policies and rules enterprise wide.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration

• 10 + years of experience in IT Network Infrastructure management, including at least 8 years in a hands-on leadership role managing technical teams.
• Strong understanding of network architecture and protocols, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and SD-WAN solutions.
• Proven experience managing hybrid environments with on-premise data centers and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute network strategies that align with business objectives, balancing performance, security, and cost efficiency.
• Experience with automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Python) for network provisioning and management.

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant’s geographic location. Salary range: $130,000 - $160,000.
