Job summary

Coesia North America is seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Manager to oversee all manufacturing areas, ensuring projects meet schedule, quality, and cost objectives. You will lead the manufacturing plan, drive process improvements, and manage department managers to achieve targeted KPIs.

The role requires 10+ years in manufacturing management and a strong background in high-speed packaging. Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally may be required.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing management.
  • 5+ years managing a significant segment of a large manufacturer or the entire operation of a smaller manufacturer.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or business administration.

Responsibilities

  • Develops the manufacturing plan and establishes procedures to maintain high standards of manufacturing operations.
  • Directs and monitors department managers to achieve goals of the manufacturing plan.
  • Acts as liaison between department management and executive levels; communicates decisions and policies.

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY/ACTIVITY Develops the manufacturing plan and establishes procedures for maintaining high standards of manufacturing operations to ensure projects conform to established customer and company quality standards. Achieves optimum employee levels with least amount of overhead and costs to meet annual budgetary plan. Formulates and recommends manufacturing policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of the operation. Directs and monitors department managers to accomplish goals of the manufacturing plan, consistent with established manufacturing and safety procedures. Acts as liaison between department management/subordinate levels, as well as executive/department manager levels to inform personnel of communications, decisions, policies and all matters that affect their performance, attitude and results. Identifies, recommends and implements changes to improve productivity and reduce cost and scrap, monitor scrap and rework data. Directs the establishment, implementation and maintenance of production standards. Drive operational efficiency within the department Ensure smooth processes to drive cross team collaborations Work with teams to create key performance indicators Monitor and report on team KPI’s Estimates budget for Operations Maintains professional knowledge in applicable areas. Keeps abreast of changes in the field to include processed, client reactions, and changes. May be required to travel domestically and internationally. Require up to 25% Travel Other duties as assignedWhat You Need to Be Successful10 plus years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in a high-speed packaging and/or related industry. A minimum of 5 years of experience managing a significant segment of a large manufacturer or the entire operation of a smaller manufacturer. Education required: Bachelor's degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or business administration.
