Job summary

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a Manager, MN Quality & Patient Safety to lead day-to-day operations for quality, patient safety, oversight, and governance across the ambulatory network.

You will collaborate with physician and administrative leaders to develop indicators from grievance, incident, peer review, and quality case data, ensuring adherence to NCQA/HEDIS standards and the highest standards of care.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or related field preferred.
  • Master's Degree MPH, MBA, or MHA preferred.
  • 6 years progressive healthcare management experience required.
  • 2 years HMO/Managed Care experience; knowledge of health care regulations, accreditation, and licensing requirements, NCQA and HEDIS standards preferred.
  • 2 years prior training and experience utilizing Lean and Six Sigma process improvement principles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational and clinical management for quality, patient safety, delegated oversight, and physician governance infrastructure across the ambulatory enterprise.
  • Collaborate with physician and administrative leaders, and Quality department staff to develop quality and safety indicators derived from grievances, occurrence reporting, peer review, and quality case review data.

What will you be doing in this role?

Qualifications Job QualificationsEducation
  • Bachelor's Degree Healthcare or related field preferred
  • Master's Degree MPH, MBA, MHA preferred
Work Experience
  • 6 years Progressive and successful healthcare management experience required
  • 2 years HMO/Managed Care experience; Knowledge of health care regulations, accreditation, and licensing requirements, NCQA and HEDIS standards preferred
  • 2 years prior training and experience utilizing process improvement principles based on lean and six sigma methodology for streamlining and refining specific work process
Licenses
  • Valid CA Clinical License can be one of the following: RN, NP, PA, RD, PT or PharmD
