Position Summary
The Oak Street Health (OSH) Engagement, Experience, and Service Ops (EESO) team is responsible for maximizing the number of patients, both new and existing, that are engaged in our care model through the delivery of an unmatched patient experience; ensuring that we capture value-based economics on all patients we serve; and making work easier for center teams by centralizing standardized activities.
Within EESO, the Membership team at Oak Street Health plays a critical role in maximizing the number of people Oak Street Health serves and ensuring that they remain engaged with Oak Street’s care model, as well as understanding how its managed care membership supports its growth and overall financial goals.
The Manager, Membership will report to the Senior Manager, Engagement. This role is focused on using data analysis, executive communication, and cross-functional collaboration to measure membership outcomes and operationalize efforts to increase membership at Oak Street Health. This individual will partner closely with leadership across the organization, in particular the Managed Care Operations team, the Payer Data team, the Health Plan Finance team, the Contact Center Sales team, and field leadership. Specific efforts will include strategic planning, operationalizing initiatives, leading ongoing data and reporting processes, and synthesizing key findings from qualitative and quantitative analyses.
The Manager will be responsible for independently owning and pushing forward initiatives based on their knowledge of value-based economics and managed care growth. Further, the Manager will directly supervise two early-in-career professionals.
Core Responsibilities
Lead the forecasting of Oak Street Health’s managed care patient growth in partnership with regional field leadership.
Drive analytic insights and operational recommendations regarding engaged patient flow through to financial membership.
Support development of Oak Street Health’s Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) membership growth and retention strategy.
Partner with Oak Street Health’s Finance team to forecast and report on membership outcomes and conduct reconciliation of health plan membership financials.
Collaborate with Oak Street Health Growth and Engagement teams to operationalize outbound patient engagement and retention efforts.
Develop materials and lead discussions with internal organizational leaders.
Advise leadership on patient engagement and retention strategies.
Manage, coach, and develop two team members.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
4+ years of experience at a top tier consulting firm, investment bank, private equity firm, or other comparable experience. Internal candidates with experience analyzing revenue or membership data are encouraged to apply.

Very strong analytical skills, with demonstrated attention to detail and experience leveraging data / analytics to solve problems.
Strategic thinker who is intellectually curious and excited to influence leaders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with eagerness to interface with internal organizational leaders.
Desire to collaborate across multiple teams to create a positive impact beyond their immediate scope.
Interest, experience, and/or passion for healthcare and/or value-based care.
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and Powerpoint/Google Slides.
Effective and flexible team player with demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment.

US work authorization.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous strategic planning and operations experience.
Proficiency in business analytics software (e.g., Alteryx) and SQL.
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales/patient engagement tools.
Education
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a quantitative discipline.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$66,330.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
