Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking an experienced leader to manage a team responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades of medical equipment and software. You will oversee inspections, functionality tests, and preventative maintenance, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.

The role includes coordinating repairs, managing incidents, and guiding decommissioning or procurement decisions.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that documentation is adequately maintained by managing documentation in the maintenance management system.
• Oversees the equipment lifecycle by leading installation, updates, and modifications and coordinating investigations of incidents related to equipment.
• Oversees ongoing preventative maintenance by assigning work, tracking progress, and providing guidance.
• Oversees repairs by coordinating troubleshooting, escalation, and vendor dispatch as needed.
• Contributes to the appropriate use of outside resources by determining need for external support and managing vendor relationships.
