Job Description

Job Summary

Manages and provides oversight of Medical Economics Team activities and personnel. Offers technical expertise and manages relationships with operational leaders and staff. Directs assigned staff and maintains work plans to meet trend reporting needs of the Marketplace (ACA Coverage) Team. Responsible for staff time tracking, performance coaching, development, and career progression.

• Manage daily Marketplace trend analytics work stream
• Collaborate with Marketplace team to address emerging trends and identify savings opportunities
• Allocate new reporting/project requests and distribute workload
• Mentor, coach, and support staff with analysis questions
• Review analyst work products for accuracy and clarity
• Ensure proper formatting, documentation, and presentation of key findings
• Work with business owners to monitor performance indicators of medical interventions
• Represent Medical Economics in cross-departmental and operational meetings
• Act as liaison between Marketplace/shared-services and Medical Economics for reporting needs and ad hoc requests
• Manage delivery and presentation of quarterly trend and performance reviews

Maintain positive interactions with Marketplace and Medical Economics personnel.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Required Experience

• At least 3 years of management or team leadership experience
• Minimum 10 years of work experience, preferably in medical economics or healthcare data environment
• Strong SQL programming, data manipulation, and advanced Excel skills
• Experience creating data visualizations for leadership audiences
• Proven ability to present results, lead meetings, and engage stakeholders

Preferred Education

• Experience with ACA or Commercial health insurance products
• PowerPivot for Excel, Databricks, PowerBI

Additional Details

Pay Range: $101,721 - $165,000 annually. Actual compensation varies based on location, experience, education, and skills.
