Job Description:
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer Manager to manage and direct the day-to-day activities of the Mechanical Design and Engineering Group. The selected candidate will provide technical direction and oversight to individuals within the group and to program teams, as well as estimate labor, capacity and other resources as required to deliver mechanical design engineering work products while adhering to budget and schedule commitments.
This person will lead the site’s mechanical design and engineering team with responsibilities for the mechanical design and analysis of ruggedized surface and submarine electro-optical imaging systems. This person will also provide input and recommendations for Internal Research And Development (IRAD) projects and support business growth by researching and responding to customer solicitations.
